(Formerly Marlboro.) , -jMhs Anna Robinson is visiting her sister, Mrs. L. 11. Hamilton. The Methodists are holding protracted meeting at the Osborne school house. Preparations are being made at this place for a fine Christmas entertainment and tree. Rev. Brady will preach his farewell sermon at this place Sunday afternoon, Dec. 28. A fine gold watch is on exhibition at Gwin & McCoy’s store. We understand that it is to be given to the most popula.- young lady present at the play and box supper Saturday night. Mrs. Peter Zea, of Shelby, was the guest of Mrs. John Phillips Ijjst week. Several men of Chicago Spent a few days last week with Frank Kodak of this place. They enjoyed their vacation by taking a good hunt. L. H. Hamilton and family now occupy rooms with Mr. C. E. Maxwell. L G. E. Hosmer shipped two carloads of cattle to Chicago. He also received two car loads from the same place. J. Goodyear has been on the sick list for the past week. A nice new fresh stocks of dolls. They are bound to please you, at Long’s, the druggist.
