The latest monster is claimed day Germany. He is named Sprlngstein, a .blacksmith residing at Prenzlau. Within the past few months he has poisoned his wife, mother and brother-in-law, the latter's son, a,governess, one of his apprentices, and a neighbor's daughter. He is also accused of drowning bi« own father: - His other victims were poisoned by the administration of strychnine.
