The coroner at Cleveland, Ohio, run*dered his verdict on Ihe Central viaduct disaster. He fails to find sufficient evidence of uu act committed or omitted on tlie part of any person to warrant him in holding anyone- criminally liable for the accident. He concludes that the seventeen victims of the disSster came to their death as*a result of the injuries sustained or from drowning in the river. A special dispatch from Rome nnnounces that numerous wrecks have peciiVed during tln* gA-al storms.wliich have over Italy. Much damage has lieen done,- especially along the coasts, 'l'lie severe storms which have’ prevailed over Switzerland and throughout Europe in geperal have caused great damage, especially in the villages hi the mountain districts of Switzerland. Aii earthquake shock was felt at Hash, also known as Obeivllasli, in Berne canton. At 10:15 Friday (Mi ning an explosion occurred at ihe magazines of the Ohio and Indiana Torpedo Company, two miles from Bowling Green, Ohio, twenty-five miles south of Toledo. Two magazines exploded, causing two shocks. Xo one was killed. The shocks were plainly 1 felt in Toledo and were thought to be caused by an earthquake.
