JaraesTJullis, of Jordan Tp., got the thumb and first two fingers of his right hand so terribly mangled in a corn shelter, Tuesday that their amputation was necessary. Drs. Loughridge and Berkley performed the operation Tuesday evening. The result of the shooting affair at Shelby, details of which were given last week, are likely to be more serious than then appeared. The one of the two Lattie brothers who was shot in the arm is likely to die of blood poisoning. The bullet struck him about the elbow and shattered the bone clear to the shoulder, and entering the body at the shoulder can not be located. The two Latties fare pretty tough young fellows, who lately came into that region from Illinois. The Fuller Brothel's are the sons of a farmer living near Shelby. No blame seems to Ipe attached by anybody to young Fuller for shooting the Lattifes. fc ,. A !
