Its capital stock was originally $8,000; which was subsequently increased to $lO,000 and even this sum was found too small to complete the system, so great was the dtmand for additiona 1 phones, and voluntary assessments were made by thy stockholders. The membership of the company now consists of the following parsons: Delos Thompson, C G. Sigler, E. L. Hollingsworth, J. F Watson, Tb ompson A Brother, Charles E. Mills and Thomas J. McCoy, all of whom are untiring in theitr efforts to make the service 6f this exchange fully satisfactory to every subscriber, and that their efforts will be crowned with success we have eyery reason to believe, aided as will be by the cordial support of the people of our town. /
