Expectation of Life in England.

The British registrar general, who keeps records of births and deaths In the British Isles, has compiled a series of tables giving the expectation of life of males and females for each year between 1 and 100. Of 1,000,000 boys 841,417 will be alive at the end of one year, while of 1,000,000 girls, 871,260 will be alive. At the end of ten years there will be 708,990 boys and 738,382 girls; after jwenty years, 680,033 males and 707,949 females. The expectation of life for females is always greater than for males of corresponding ages.
