REMINTON ITEMS.
Mr. and Mr*. John Hollett went toVaJporaiso Thursday for a week’s visit with relative there. Friday for a short visit here. Mr. Blood returned home Tuesday morning. Mrs. Blood will remain some time visiting her relatives h re. The M. E. Church is receiving quite extensive repairs in the way of cleaning and new carpet. Mrs. C. R. Hitchcox and Mrs. M. V. Hansei berg rfeturned to tbeir home near Buffalo, N. Y. Tuesday. Mr. E. A. Bartoo and Mr. L. F. Bartoo returned from Chicago Saturday, where they were called by the serious illness of their brother, who was still living but very low hen last heard from. . Miss Flo McKee left Tuesday tor West Minster Seminary Fort Wayne. She was accompanied by her sister Miss Carrie who will return soon. Hartley Church returned to college last Saturday. The Bloomington Students returned Monday morning. They returned in full foice with the exception of Dan Biddle who remains at home. Ed. Bond is building a new hov' ae as fast as eight men can work. In consequence of which there were no services at the M. E. church. Mr. Townsend has greatly improved hia residence by a slight addition. ■
Died—at her ho.me in Monticello Sunday Sept. 15, Edith, only daughter of Basil and Ella Donnelly, aged nineteen. Mr. and Mrs. Donnelly were former residents of this place when Miss Edith was born and where Ahe was a Frequent vTsTtor, and they have the sympathy of this whole community in their great bereavement. Miss Edith was a bright and beautifurgirrahdhadeiidearecrfierselftoalargeeirdeoffriends. Her death was caused by that fatal disease quick consumption, from which she has been a sufferer for nearly a year. The funeral services were held at her home in Monticello. Miss Ophelia Lees left Saturday, for State Normal. Terre Haute. Misses Anna Harper, and Jennie, Ida and Stella Beal have gone to Indjanapolis to the Millinery opening. Mr. and Mrs. Hines attended the funeral of their nit.ee, Miss Eiith Donnelly at Monticello Monday.
