Still Superintendent Warren.
The Supreme Court, last Friday, in special session, decided that the law changing the time for electing County School Superintendents from the first Monday in June to the first Monday in September, was invalid. The effect of this decision will be that all County Superintendent’s now in office will hold over until two years from last June. In our own county, this decision will continue in office J. F. Warren, who has already held the position for eight years, and has made an exceptionally efficient and popular superintendent.

The Presbyterian Church Contract. The bids for the erection of the new Presbyterian church were opened Sunday evening, as per notice. Only three bids were received, which were as follows: Cox Bros., Rensselaer, $7789. Downey, of Monticello, S7BOO. J. L. Fatout, Indianapolis, $7997. The difference between the two lowest bidders, Cox Bros, and Downey is only sll.
