REMINGTON ITEMS.

Miss Mary Johnson our former popular high school teacher and Mrs. Ida Coover visited our burg last week Wednesday. Mrs. G. E. Marshall and children visited her parents this week. Mr. David Shearer returned to his home in St Paul early last week. John Mitchell’s team ran away on Monday of last week, and Wm. Sayers’ performed the same triek'Jast Saturday. The former resulted in a broken buggy while the latter only silled the groceries. The Misses Taber, Beaseley and Mariacher will give a select entertainment at the residence of Chas. Harlacher Friday evening. Remington is growing fast. We now boast a writing and drawing master at the school house a&well as a singing master at the church. R. R. Pettitt has gone to Ocean Grove, New Jersey, for his health. Expects to be gone some time. Dr. Pothuisje has shaken the dust of Remington from his feet and is now a citizen of Indianapolis* The Tedfords will open a general Merchandise store in the Osborne building.
