ADDITIONAL LOCALS.

Ex-Congressman Patton, now register of aU. S. land office in Oklahoma, was in town yesterday. Harry Hartley, of Remington, who who was so dangerously shot by a target rifle, is now considered out of danger. John Burroughs, of Hammond, visited Rensselaer relatives Sunday night. He is in the law practice at Hammond.* ’ Mr. Russell has sold his creamery at Kniman to Mr. McAdams, an experienced creamery man, from lowa. The new owner intends adding cold storage, and otherwise making great improvements. Some good changes have been made with the dtinking facilities at the court house well. But the greatest trouble with it seems to be that the wind-mill does not pump enough water. In dry times when the water is needed worst, is just when the wind blows least. A man from Illinois, whose name we did not learn, was accidentally shot, last Friday, while hunting near W heatfield. He received a full load of shot in the face, neck and breast. He was badly and dangerously injured, but at last reports it was thought he would recover. Marriage liscenses issued since last reported:

Zimmerman, the merchant tailor, and Miss Hattie L. Rhoades, were married Wednesday morning, July 24th, at 6 o’clock. The ceremony took place at the future residence of the parties, on Cornelia street. Rev. R* D. Utter performed the ceremony. Only relatives and a few intimate friends were present at the wedding. The newly married couple are already seeping house, they having famished their house before the wedding took place.
