Amendment to Smoke Stack Ordinance. Be It ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Rensselaer in regular session assembled that section 1 of an ordinance regulating the height of smoke stacks and Hues adopted May 23, 1895, be amended to read as follows: Section 1. Any smoke stack or flue of 15 horse power engine or boiler hereafter erected or repaired must be 50 feet high from the top of the boiler upon which it rests, and if by reason of continued use or rust said stack or flue becomes less than 50 feet high said stack or flue must be erected to the height of 50 feet. Whereas an emergency exists for the immediate taking effect of this ordinance the same shall be in force from and after its passage and publication. Attest J. M. Wasson, C. M. Blue, Pres, of Board.
