A Bad Accident at Remington.

Harry Hartley, a well known grain dealer, at Remington accidentally shot himself through the chest, Tuesday, with a target rifle. The ball entered in front and passed near the heart, and is thought to be lodged in the spinal cord. He was alive at the latest accounts received yesterday, but yesterday morning two Logansport physicians thought his chances for recovery not more than one in fifty. Latest: Mr. Hartley was living Wednesday at noon, and his friends were beginning to be much encouraged. r
