DUNNVILLE ITEMS.

Free Methodist Quarterly meeting was held at Dunnviile school-house, Monday and Tuesday nights. Services conducted by Elder E. Matthews. We have a few men in our town who say they would rather go fishing than work for 11.00 a day. Their employer told them they could work for SI.OO a day or quit; so now they go fishing. We think SI.OO per day is better wages than one dog-fish per week. Miss Jesse White has returned home from Clayton, Hendricks Co, where she has been visiting friends. People are now preparing for wheat harvest, the wheat crop being much belter than anticipated. Mrs. Lydia Slocum has a two weeks old son, named Hal Slocum. G. W. Dunn is home for a few Weeks vacation. Our Supervisor, Mr. Vandercar, brought suit against James Williams, who refused to work the roads three days single handed, while men with teams put in full time m one day.
