. Application for License. Notice is hereby g ven to the citizens of the town of Wheatfield and of Wheatfield township, in Jasper county. Indiana; that the undersigned a male inhabitant of the s ate of Indiana, over the age of twenty one years, of good moral character an 1 not in the h bit of becomLng intoxicated; will make application to the Board of Commissioners of said Jasper county, at the June session of said Board, commencing onMonday, June 3rd. 1895 for a retail liquor license, empowering him to sell and barter spirituous vinohs, malt and all other intoxicating liquors, in less quantities than a quirt ata time with the privilege of allowing and permitting the same to be drank on the premises were the same are sold and bartered; and will also ask that he b ■ granted the privilege of. selling cigars and tobacco, soft drinks and lunches in the same premises and in connection with said retail liqimr biisiness. The location of said premises are described as follows , The lower or ground floor of a one story frame building located as follows: Commencing at a point on the south side of and fronting on Bryon street, thirty-one (31) feet. East of the Northeast corner of lot one (1) in block six (6), Bentley’s addition to the town of Wheatfield, in said Jasper county; thence due east twenty-two (22) feet, and six (6) inches; thence sou.li, forty-three feet and eight inches, (43 ft 8 in): thonco west twenty-two feet and six inches (22 ft fi in); thence north forty-three feet and eight inches, (43ft Biu) to the place of beginning. . Said above described promises being located bn a part of the Northeast quarter (N. E JC> of the Southwest quarter, (S. W. J 4) of Section twenty-five (25) in Township thirty-two. Notice is hereby given to all the citizens of the town of Wheatfield, and Wheatfield township, in the county of Jasper and State of Indiana, that the undersigned. Grover Smith, a white, male inhabitant of said town and township, and over the age of twenty-one years, not in the habit of becoming intoxicated, and a man of good moral character, and a fit person in every respect to be intrusted with the sale of intoxicating liquors, will make application to the Board of Commissioners of said Jasper county, at the next regular session and meeting of said board to be held in the town of Rensselaer, in said county and state aforesaid, commencing on the first Monday in June, 1895, the same being the 3rd day of June, 1895, for a license to sell spirituous liquors, vinous liquors and malt liquors, and all other intoxicating liquors which may be used as a beverage, in less quantities than a quart at a time, with the privilege of permitting said liquors to be drank on the premises where sold, and said premises being precisely located and described as follows: In a one story frame building, the ground upon which said building is located being precisely located and described as follows: Being a part of of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of section twenty-five (25) township thirty-two (32) norita,. range six (6) west, in Jasper county, Indiana, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Commencing two hundred and three (203) feet south of the center of said section, thence running due west four (4) feet being the place of beginning, thence continuing due west thirty (30) feet, thence running due south eighteen (18) feet, thence running due east thirty (30) feet and thence running due north eighteen (18) feet to the place of beginning.
