NORTH MARION.
Mollie Humes and Nellie Freeman attended church at Brushwood Sunday night. Our new comers think snakes are rather plenty here. The click of the corn planter is again heard in the land. Prospects for fruit iplendid in this neighborhood. Childrens day will be observed at the Vaughn Chapel. W. B. Freeman is preparing to plant quite a crop of broom corn. Land buyers thick as hops, but I don't think they will run the Hoosiers out yet. Quite a number of tile have been put in this spring in this neighborhood, but it don’t look as if it was necessary to tile when it stays so dry. The long needed rain came last Friday night to cheer the farmers’ hearts. ~
