M. E. Church Notes.

The June Festival is coming. Only a hint of the many good things it promises can be given this week, towit: Monday evening. June 3, Prof. August Wolf, violinist; Tuesday evening, The World’s Fair Quartette; Wednesday evening, Dr. C. N. Sims; Thursday afternoon and evening, Rollo K. Bryan, the chalktalkist; Friday evening, chorus concert A Sadden Death in Walker Township Mrs. Eliza Tanner, a most estimable lady, and wife of Edward Tanner, of WalkerlTp. dropped dead last Sunday afternoon, May sth of heartdisease. Her age was 34 years. She leaves a husband and six children, the latter ranging in age from an infant of a few weeks to 12 years. The funeral was held at Kniman school house, Tuesday forenoon, and was conducted by Rev. Baker, of the M. E. churcb, and of which the deceased was a member.
