Their Day is Past in Carroll County.
Delphi Citizen. Henry Marshall, of the Lafayette Bridge Co., was m the the city tm Tuesday trying to get in bis graft on the two small iron bridges that the commissioners propose to erect across Rattle Snake Creek and Buck Creek ditch. He was proceeding nicely in his fine Italian way until Craven Smith came ambling along, and reaching out his long arm, took the contract and stowed it away in his spacious side pocket. This insures the county square work, and square work only, in the construction of the bridges and will have a tendency to open the optics of the Lafayette Bridge Company to the fact that their day is past in Carroll County.
