In Respect to the Deceased Prosecutor
A meeting of members of the bar -and-eourt Ulkers was held at -the court houße, Monday evening, to take proper action on account of the death of Pi os<. eating Attorney Annabal. M. F. Chilcote was chosen chairman and J. W. Douthit secretary. A committee, made up as follows, was appointed to represent this bar and court at the Tuneral, held vesterday: Judge Wiley, S. P. Thompson, R. W. Marshall, J. T. Brown, B. F. Ferguson, Jasper Guy, W. H. Coover. A committee on resolutions was also appointed ; their report being here appended: Your committee appointed by a meeting of the bar and officers of the Jasper circuit court to report resolutions of respect and condolence on account of the death of a member of our bar and an officer of this court, the Honorable Thurman C. Annabal, prosecuting attorney of this circuit, having duly considered of the matter, report as follows: It is with profound regret that we learn that death, on the afternoon of March 17tb, 1895, has called from our circle one who by his long service as an attorney was well fitted to represent and maintain the pleas of the state, and one who was fulfilling with credit the high office to which he had been elected fryllie people.. We extend to the family of the deceased our condolence oyer the loss of a husband and father who in his home life was ever affable and true to his family. In friendship he was true, and kept faith with all who entrusted him in the administration of his duties as attorney and counsel. We therefore move that the Jasper circuit court place upon its records this expression of the esteem with which the members of the bar and the officers of the court hold in memory the life and services of the deceased; and we farther request that the clerk of this court forward to the widow and son of the deceased a copy of this memorial under the seal of the court, and that we request the papers of this circuit to publish the same.
