The County Commissioners.
The County Commissioners are bolding their regular December session this week. Hon D. R. Jones, succeeding Hon. O P Taber, of the third district, quahfied and took his seat. Hon. B. R Faris, as the oldest member in time of service, was ' elected President of the Board, succeeding Mr Taber. Saloon licenses were granted to Rjuben Gundy, cf D'MoVe, and Henry Hildebrand, of Rensselaer. - i Two alleys in Remington were • vacated; also that part of Angelica street, in Rensselaer, which extends i from Front street west to the rear of the respective properties of Delos Thompson and J. H. S. Ellis.
Some road ai d bridge business was disposed of, also 30 or 40 claims of various kinds. To-day the Board will make atrip over |he Lakin and Gifford ditches, to ascertain from pt-rsonal examinaation, what is needed in the way of new bridges.
