GILLAM ITEMS.

The Epworth League closed last Sunday for the winter. R. Massey and Elmer Pullins made a business trip to Rensselaer last Friday. Quite a number of the Gillam bays attended a box social- in Pulaski Co. last Friday eve. There will be an orange social given by the pupils and teacher, Miss Molhe Faris, of the West Vernon school on Tuesday "evening Nov. 27. They extend a cordial invitation to all. " - Elias W. Faris, son of B. R. Fans, returned last week from Nebraska, where he has been for the last four or five years. Tfae pupils of Center school with their teacher Frank Osborne, will give a neck -tie social for the benefit of the Young Peoples Reading Circle, on Saturday eve Nov. 24th 1894. A cordial invitation is extended to all.
