Political Points.
1 Laborers who want better wages than they are now getting should vote the'Republican ticket next -Tuesday. * * # If you want a change and a good deal of it, vote the Republican ticket uezt Tuesday and continue at it. * * * If the crop of free trader should he short next week, when harvested, we can all return thanks. * * * Vote early November 6th. Be sure and vote the Republican if you “want a change.” See that your neighbor goes and does likewise if he too “wants a change.” * * * Pilot shou’d not contract a case of nervous prostration because of the county debt. Most of the candidates an its county ticket are in debt and paying as high a rate of interest as the county and they expect to get out.
The Pilot should not worry about Republicans who have been Democrats. They can generally “give a reason for the hope that is within them.” “They say” is the worst kind of an old news monger. * * * The Democratic-Populists aggregation after November 6th, will be like the preachers profane parrot. Thep will wonder where they were “when the cyclone struck.” * * * Some Democratic suspects were arrested in Chicago the other day, who confessed they were to vote twenty times a piece next Tuesday. * * ♦ Congressman Reed'says “until the county knows that the Democratic reformers an bound over to, keep the peace then will be no revival of business. Bomtrager does good work. It is to be hoped no “windy” fellow will blow them up before the bridge is put in place. “I golly, I am getting there” if my hogs had the cholera.
