LITTLE ROCK IN RUINS.
A Tornado of Remarkable Violence hr Arkansas, At7;3O p. m. Tuesday, Oct. 2. a tornadi of unusual violence devastated the business portion of Little Rock, Arkansas Several people were killed and scores seriously injured. At the State penitentiary, in the west part of the city, the wreck was fearful. Several convicts were injured and one died from his wounds. Thi greatest wreck was at the Insane asylum The roofs of the main building were caved In. The male ward Is a total wreck. Several patients escaped but were recaptured.
