Marion Township Teachers.
The following are the teachers for tbe country schools of Marion tp., for the school year just beginning: 1. Bowling Green, Miss Ura McGowan . 2. Union, Miss Effie Cowden. 3. Pleasant Ridge, Miss Ida Chilcote. 4. Watson, Miss Frances B. Marshall. 1 5. Slaughter, Wilber Tharp. 6. Putts, Miss Emma Eger. 7. Parker, Chas. Grow. 8. Trussell, Miss Katie Shields. 9. James, Miss Maggie Lang. 10. O’Meara, Miss Blanche Hoyes. 11. Wasson, Chas. Blue. “ 12. Poor Farm, Miss Mary Harrison . These schools were all begun last Monday, except the Pleasant Ridge and the Wasson; which will begin next Monday. These teachers held their first township institute at the Rensselaer school house, last Saturday, and elected as their township principal, for the year, Mies Lang, and for secretary Miss Harrison.
