Quite a wind and rain storm visited here Sunday, blowing down several -trees-and almost blowing down the hay h»a of J. A. Sigler. The Band held their social in the school house grove last Saturday evening. It was well attended. Proceeds $29, Mrs. Sommers had a paralytic stroke about a week ago, and has been quite sick, but was some better when hst heard fiom.
