The Circult Court.

Judge Wiley arrived Monday afternoon and immediately opened court. Calling of the docket and other necessary routine business was transacted. Tuesday morning the Judge went to Kokomo to attend the Ninth congressional district Republican convention. Tuesday forenoon, Wm. B. Austin, as special judge, heard the divorce case of Louisa C. Stockwell vs Lem uel W. Stockwell. They were married Dec. 17, 1890, and he left her Mar. 28,1891. She was granted her divorce and the custody of her one child, a son, born July Ist, 1891. Judge Austin also heard the evidence in the divorce case off Alice M. Wheeler vs. Edmund B. Wheeler, and completed the case Tuesday evening. They were married in Dec. 1884, in Chicago, and separated in April, 1893. She charges cruel and inhuman treatment and habitual drunkenness. She was granted a divorce and her maiden name Hyland, was restored. This case was begun in the January term. Aultman, Miller & Co., vs John Greve, on note. Judgement for plf. for $80.66. Wm. Skinner Mans. Co. vs Jos. L. Peffler, on acct. Judg. for plf., for $384 54. Stephen Curren vs J. M. Troxell, et al, revival of judgement, for plf for $811.58.

Peter K. Dedrick vs Eph. Sayers, note, judg for plf. for $109.95. Garr, Scott A Co. vs same, note, for plf. for $101.96. Judgements quieting titles in plaintiffs were entered, in Wm. C. Iliff, vs. Eskridge A. Ferguson et al, and Alfred Thompson et al vs Thcs. H. Batter, et aL Court adjourned Tuesday evening until Thursday morning.
