Philadelphia Record. Deacon George W.Hallock, a Long ! island farmer, will talk about “Practical Farming” to Suffolk county armers. Mr. Hallocb’s farm consists of only sixty-seven acres, yet ie produced last year 6,000 quarts of strawberries, 2,530 bushels of early potatoes, 5,100 barrels of cabbage, 5,950 bushels of onions from sets, 2,700 bushpls of late potatoes, 11,000 bushels oi onions from seeds, 12,800 bushels o| carrots. 21 bushels of white beans, i tons of Hungarian iay, 200 pounds of onion seed, 75 pounds of carrotsecd, 110 bushels oi Brussels ery, 800 bushels pf corn on ear, 300 b ushels of on lop sots and 275,000 cabbage plants 1b carry over.
