The resolution was: Resolvod, That the House of Representatives of tho United States of America regards with pleasure and satisfaction the prompt anil energetic action of RearAdmiral Bonham. on the 27th ult., in |the harbor of Rio do Janeiro, in the perform nnce of his duty to protect Americans and the commerce of tho United States.
