Statement of maxium tax on each SIOO.OO ill taxable property in Marion tp., for proposed gravel roads as obtained from careful and accurate examination of the records in the auditor’s office of Jasper county Indiana. Total taxable property for 1893 in Rensselaer and Marion tp., $1749752. 00. Total estimate cost of gravel roads which estimate the law will not allow exceeded $39630.74. This $396 50.74,-divided'into five equal payments makes $7926 15 to be paid each year. Levy required to pay same per year for five years, 45 cents on SIOO, to which ad i the interest for meantime. 2 1-2 years at 6 per cent, making 7 cents more on each SIOO thus making a total of 52 cents per year average levy, or $2.60 for the total five years.
