FOOD FOR COWS.

There is a great deal said now days about feed for cows. In fact there is so much theory presented by our dairymen, especially those who sit in the editorial sanctum, and who never milked a cow or fed one or who could not tell which cow give s the butter milk and which the swee t milk. Theory is all right, that is if given in small doses, but when you crowd a whole column full of theorizing on the products of different ingredients of a ration of w cow, it costs too much time and trouble. The old cow will dry up before you can put your theory into practice. Just a little common sense in feedin g and close watching of results will teach any man what to feed and how much.
