Rensselaer Republican, Volume 26, Number 21, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 18 January 1894 — Woman’s Relief Corp Work. [ARTICLE]
Woman’s Relief Corp Work.
The Rensselaer Woman’s Relief Corps makes the following report of their work for the year ending Dec. 31, 1893. For relief first quarter $50.25. Second quarter, $24.00. Third quarter, 95 cents. Fourth quarter, $15.35. Belief, other than money, $40.00. Total, $130.65. We are sometimes asked how we raise our money. We get it by giving entertainments, suppers, etc., and by donations made by our members, and occasionally we have received voluntary contributions from persons not members of either Post or Corps. These are most thankfully received and faithfully expended.
