Chas. Martin has rented and moved on the Butler farm. Welcome Charley. \ There is considerable talk of. mid dogs but it is likely other causes than hydrophobia caused the scare. The iron bridge over the Lakin ditch, at Barney Comer’s place, is completed, and the dredge is at work on the branch that goes past Mr. Lakin ’s farm. There will be a protracted meeting begin on the evening of Jan. 16th, at Rose Bud church, conducted by Rev. Vice, to last as long, as interesting and profitable.
