FROM SURREY.

The outlook for a wheat crop is good. “ ; " -■ A jolly old eharivari took place Wednesday evening, that caused B. T. Bowen to “set-em-up.” Mrs. Simon Kenton, who has been seriously sick is mending slowly. A dbg belonging to C. L. Parks was sick for a few days last Friday, and the sickness developed in a true case of hydrophobia. The animal was shot by John Youuglas. The same dog that caused the havoc in Newton county was the cause of this case. People and stock are in great danger if dogs are not killed or tied up. A very enjoyable meeting closed last Thursday evening at Vaughn church. No accessions to the church but a general good time to all who attended. Surrey Ite.
