STILL ANOTHER INSANITY CASE.
Last Friday Justices Burnham and Morgan were again required to examine into the mental condition of one of our residents. The subject was Mrs. Josephine Moosmiller, wife of John Moosmiller, who lives in Leopold’s Addition, in Rensselaer. Her insanity first showed itself the Sunday previous. A widowed sister, Mrs. Lena Riddle, became insane some time ago, and is now in an asylum at Topeka, Kans; and Mrs. Moosmiller, with or without cause, has been greatly troubled about the sister’s children, and two of whom are now inmates of her family. She is melancholly and restless, and at times violent, and imagines her husband and neighbors are devils. She has six young children of W own, b esides the two of her sister’s, and the case is especially sad, on account of the young children. She was adjudged insane and application made for her reception at the Logansport asylum.
