Death of Wm. M. Kennedy.
William M. one of Walker Township’s best known and most esteemed citizens, died last Thursday, Oct. 12, 1893, at his home in that township, of Bright’s disease, after an illness of nine months. He was born in Louden Co., Tenn., Jan. 10, 1837. Moved to Johnson Co., Ind., in April 1861, and from there to the Jasper county home in which he died, in Dec., 1878. He was married in May, 1864, and his wife and six of their eight children survive him. Reunited with the M. E 1 church in 1877, and remained a member until his death. The funeral was held Friday at the residence, Rev. R. D. Utter, of Rensselaer, conducting the religious exercises.
