For Your “Uppers.”

By applying once a week to the boot or shoe a preparation composed of tallow and fish oil, which can be obtained already mixed in right proportions at any shoe-maker’s supply house, the leather is kept soft and pliable and never cracks. Passing a blacking brush over the shoes every morning gives them a polish. Tweive years’ experience in the use of the above preparation convinces me that my “uppers” last considerably longer, thereby reducing my shoe-maker’s bill bv half.
