Our tile factory. Messrs Stacker and Covert proprietors, is doing a good business. Rev. M. Hyden of Kansas, preached in the Methodist church, Sunday night He and Mrs. H. are visiting Mr..and Mrs. Haskell. - Mr. Zerbe our genial operator is taking a well earned vacation. His .plane is supplied by Jif • Farrell. Teachers are settling down into their places for the comming term. Our town schools will be under the management of Mr. Bennett, formerly of Kentland schools and Miss Flora Pfrimmer. Miss Blanche Merry formerly of the primary department here takes the same department of the Morrocco schools. The Old School Baptist have begun the erection of a neat house of worship. Charles Penwright is the contractor. Mt Ayr will have several representations at th/Fair this week. Jacob Shook wears a happy smile. It is a boy.
