Yawning a Cure for Earache.

* Earache is so common a especially among children, that such a simple remedy as that proposed by a Swiss doctor is worth the trying. He says that by making the patient yawn two or three times a day the pain becomes distinctly lessened; and the same effect is felt in certain diseases of. the throat. The movement acts in some way as gentle massage and so frequently affords relief. One of the advantages of the cure is that it can do no harm, even if it does no good, though I would advise its being practiced away front other people, for everyone knows how disagreeably infectious yawning is.
