Inexorable Logic.

An inexorable professor of logic from a Russian driven into exile with his fellow Hebrews, found temporary employment in New York as the conductor of a street car. Two wbrnen got on together one day, and later, signalling the conductor, begged to be let off at differant streets. Then the logician, pausing before his astonished passengers, said with conviction: ‘‘No, you has got on together, and gonsequently you vill get off together,” and so they did.
