The Town Board.

The Town Board, at their regular meeting Monday night, ordered a new plank sidewalk along the west side of Halloran's saloon, and Iliff’s livery stable. Also several walks in Other parts of town. The Marshal was ordered to notify ptdpertyowners to clean up their alleys, forthwith; and in case of failure to comply, with the order, the Marshal is to cause the work to be -done, at the expense of the property owners. The heirs Of Jaujcs Q. Weston Offer ' to give to the town the small triangular tract ou Division street, south of J. W. Williams’ residence, for a public park, if the Board would accept and improve the same. The offer was accepted. The “park” is about two sizes larger than a Columbian postage stamp. . In the matter of Addison Parkison’s claim for a larger discount on certificates for Washington street improvement, the Board decided to take back the certificates at the price paid Mr. Parkison, paying for them out of the sinking fund. Austin & Co., composed of W. B. Austin, Geo. K. Hollingsworth, A. H, Hopkins, will loan you money on personal, mortgage, or chattel security, for long or short time at local bank rates. These loans can be paid back at any time, and are more desirable than bank loans, because interest is rebated. We have unlimited capital and can accomodate everybody.
