Modern Welsh Druid.
Dr. William Price, of Llantnsant, Glamorganshire, who called himself the “high priest of the sun,” Snd made himself by his attire and actions a close copy Of the ancient Druid priests, died two weeks ago at the age of 92 years. He was one of the most eccentric characters in Wales. He wore a whole fox skin for a head dress, trousers of light green cloth, a vest of scarlet and a light green cloak. He left directions in his will that his body be cremated with many fantastic coremonies, on a big funeral pyre built on a lofty hilltop. His children were to light the pyre and Druidical rites were to be performed, One of his children he named .TSsus Christ. His directions were carried out. An Aggravating Sore Throat is soon relieved by Dr. D. Jayne’s Expectorant, an old-time remedy for Bronchial and Pulmonary affections. “De best coast defence.,” said Pompey, “is to scramble over de fence when a boy Is cornin’ down hill on his sled.”
