Cleveland and .Stevenson Get Tham AllAlbert Lieber Appointed Messenger. * The fifteen men who were elected by the voters of Indiana as Presidential Electors met at Indianapolis, Monday, Jan. 9. at 10:15 a. m.. in the hall of the House. at-largc,a called tho meeting to order. Judge McCabe administered the oath. John C. Robinson, of Terre Haute* elector-at-large, was chosen President, and Wm. H. Bracken, secretary. Thomas Bagot and Austin W. Knight wero-uhosen tellers. The ballots having been distributed, as each elector’s name was called he dropped the slip of paper containing his vote into the hat passed around by Elector Bagot. On each ballot was printed the following: “For President of tho United States of America, Grover Cleveland of the State of New York.” Secretary Bracken announced that “Grover Cleveland has received for President of the United States fifteen votes,” and the announcement was greeted with applause. The same routine was gone through in casting the vote for Vice-President, and fifteen votes were recorded for Adlai E. Stevenson, of Illinois, amidst applause from spectators. Albert Lieber, of Indianapolis, was unanimously chosen messenger to deliver to the President of the Senate of the United States, a copy of the certificate of the vote.
