The Circuit Court.

The grand jury finished up its work Friday. They broke the record with 45 indictments. Mostly saloon cases, or other minor offences. The petit jury was called for Monday, but the jury cases set for trial having been otherwise disposed of, the jury was excused until Thursday, of this week. Reports in final settlement were filed in the cases of the following estates: Jared H. Fountain, Henry Poisel, Dennis Casey, Mary Ball, Sarah E. Pans, Julia A. Daniels. Sevcra! saloonists and two or three very light weight gamblers have plead guilty, and been lined in various sums of from $5 to S2O. The Wheatfield ditch matter appealed from Commissioners’ Court by Nelson Morris, who wants big damages, has occupied considerable time, over a motion made by Morris to transfer the case to the U. S. district court. 'His motion was over-ruled, and the case is set for trial next week.
