They Think They Are Smart.

The following is taken from an exchange, and people who think that the newspaper business is nothing but “boys play,” should sift the following, and get the correct idea; “Every column of a newspap. r contains from twelve to twenty thousand distinct pieces of metal, displacement of any of which would cause a typographical errr r. And yet some people lay claim to remarkable smartness if they cau discover an error in a newspaper. When some people'find a word with a letter misplaced they are sure that they could spell that word right, and go around to (he neighbors and tell that the editor of the paper spelled the word wrong.”
