Mr. and Mrs. Brace Banta now pf Chicago, but formerly of Hahging Grove have hadthevery sadmiafortune of losing another of their children. It died at their home ip Chicago last Sunday, Mr. Moore Banta cama down Sunday evening to make arrangements for the funera The child and its broken hearted parents arrived at Lee Monday noon on the vestibule. Mr. and Mrs. Banta have the sympathy of all. Pearl Armstrong arrived home after a very pleasant visit of two weeks at her brother Frank’s who is a dispatcher on the Great North Western and is situated at Escanaha.

Her brother accompanied her home hut' he was compelled to go back without visiting his parents here. Hattie Etdridge spent Sunday in this place, she is now engaged with Hester Cripps in her dress making at Rensselaer. Mr*. CuarleyLsfler spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents in Lee. There will be a Literary at the school house here next Friday night. Everybody cordially invited.

Ella Hanley who is teaching the Banta school spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents in Kmman, A. S. Baker is spending the week in Chicago. . There is nearly a train load of hay stored out in the Zard’s ham ready to be shipped as soon as cars can be obtained. The creamery is the talk of the town. ”T 7 . 7 Aeneas
