CHOLERA NOTES.

Prof. Koch, of Berlin, has written a letter in which he says he docs not believe that cholera can be transmitted through the post by means of letters or printed matter. It is believed that cholera is abating In New York. The girl Mary Connerty will be discharged from the reception hospital iu a few days. It is generally conceded in medical quarters that Mary was not a cholera victim. David B. Hill opened the Democratic campaign Monday n|ght at Brooklyn, in which he came out fl fit-footed for Democracy and its ticket.
