FROM WHEAIFIELD.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas I Myers have reretnmed from Chicago where they they have purchased their new stock -of goods... 1 William Miller, our new lumber dealer is furnishing Horace Marble his bill of lumber for his new residence, southofhis store, which will probably be the finest dwelling in town. —----- John Whitaker & Bro. are building a large livery barn at the rear of the Melser Jlouse lot. We have to record the very sudden death of one of the oldest settlers of Wheatfield tp., Edward McNeal, who was taken sick on Friday forenoon and died Saturday forenoon, with congestion of the brain,. It is understood that Elder Wilson of the M. E. church is arranging the Rose lawn and San Pierre circuits into one circuit, and making Wheatfield the head of the counsil of propaganda. Ip other words the light will go out from here to the .benighted abroad. We understand that Mrs. Edward McNeal will have the new tenemen t bouse built that her late husband had contracted for in Wheatfield. The late rains have interfered materially with hay making. Our Wheatfield Republican Glee Club is gettling along finely, and are now able to furnish most cheering anil patriotic music on proper occasions. C. C. Bentley has returned from Chicago, where he has been to see hi s brother William.
