OBITUARY.
JAMES EDIV ARD MC NEIL. Died, at his home near Wheatfield Jasper Co. Ind., on Saturday, Sept. 10th, 1892, of congestion of the brain, James Edward McNeil, aged 56 years, 3 months and 24 days. Mr. McNeil was born in Niagara Co. N. Y. May 16, 1836, and moved with his parents to Jasper Co. Ind., in 1844. SinceJhat time he has been a resident of Wheatfield tp., being one of the oldest settiers in Northern Jasper. He was married to Hannah M. Dunn on the 20th of August, 1879. He was an honest and right citizen, a good neighbor, a kind husband and a loving father. He leaves a widow, one son, a brother tnd two sisters, also a large circle of friends and neighbors to mourn his loss. The funeral was preached by Rev. P. E. Davis, at the Christian church, in W’heatfield, at 11 a. m., Sept. 11th. After which the remains were laid at rest in the Wheatfield Cemetery. F. W. A.
