WOMAN ELECTED MAYOR.

Mrs. Mores Stafford Will Preside Over ths Decatur, 111., CouncU. In order to settle definitely the resnlt oi the School Board election held at Decatur, 111., Wednesday, three separate cotints ol the 2,847 ballots was necessary, anff the work was not finally completed till 2 o’clock Thursday morning. Mrs. Mores Stafford was declared elected over Mayor W. Br Chambers by a majority of five votes. Friday night the Equal Suffrage Club will have a parade and Mrs, Stafford will ride in an open carriage drawn by four white hbrses.
