ITALIANS WANT INDEMNITY.
Families of 'the Lynched Sicilians Bring Suits Against the City of New Orleans. A new and unexpected chapter in the history of the Hennegsy assassination at New Orleans and the lynching of the Italians, that followed has came out. Claims will be filed in the United States Court against the clty by the families of the Italians who were naturalized for damages. The claims will vary from $30,000 to $40,000, and tho totai will amofiiC to between $150,000 and $200,000. Not one of tho families of those who were naturalized is included in the claim, „It js a, daim against the city. The suit is brought to prevent proscription. The heirs of the mobbed Italians have a claim against the government already, but it is said that It will be Worthless unless it is brought against the city within one year after the oceurance. The year has almost expired.
