An Aged Lady’s Sudden Death.
Mrs. Sarah A. Irwin, the venerable mother of James F. Irwin, clerk of the circuit court, and of Mrs .J. C. Porter, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, at the residence of the latter. Early Monday morning she had slipped on a wet board, and falling had broken her left thigh bone at the hip joint Being already in very feeble health from the diseases of old age, and also from the effects of an almost exactly similar accident, to the other hip, about two years ago, the shock of the injury was too much for her enfeebled constitution, and at about 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon she peacefully and painlessly expired. Her age was nearly 75 years. The funeral will be held to-day, at 2 o’clock P. M. at the M. E. church. - r Fine Watch, Clock and Jewelry. Repairing and work warranted, at lowest prices, at H. J.
